As Bernie Sanders took the stage on Tuesday night, the cable networks continued doing what they do best – talking.
Fox News, CNN and MSNBC all declined to carry Sanders’ speech, instead offering jokes about the evening while showing live coverage of Trumps empty podium while promising that we were all, “AWAITING TRUMP” and “STANDING BY FOR TRUMP.“
In Fact: EVERY OTHER CANDIDATE HAD AIR TIME EXCEPT FOR SANDERS
As if these stations couldn’t get any more corrupt, The Huffington Post’s Michael Calderone reported that the media have collectively given Trump some $2 billion worth of free air time.
Don’t be fooled by the media ya’ll. You can watch his incredible speech here & remember You ARE his media
am i the only one who rehearses things i might say in advance? and I don’t mean like my theoretical oscars acceptance speech i mean like what i’ll say to the pizza guy when I answer the door in my pjs
Women like to believe that they are “intelligent” for earning a degree when really, most women earn degrees in enlist or gender studies. Id only be impressed if they earned a degree in math or technology. But most women do not

Not only this - but fields like English (I assme that’s what “enlist” is a typo for), gender and sexuality studies, and the performing arts are devalued precisely because women are predominant, or perceived to be such, in those fields.
Even if women DID mostly get English degrees, there’s nothing inherently valueless about an English degree. There is nothing wrong with an English degree. The disdain people have for this field - like many others - stems from misogyny. STEM fields are considered the “valid” or “real” fields now because they’re seen as male-dominated (though subfields within that umbrella, like biology, are now suffering the same fate literature/letters disciplines have, as women begin earning more Bio degrees.) Literature was considered a prestigious field a hundred years ago, but it was also one of the first women were able to break back into academically speaking (I say break “back” into because worldwide, women have always been in literature; they’ve just done their best to ignore that.) Therefore, our field became devalued… because how important could it be if a woman could do it?
I got an English (enlist) degree and every job interviewer I’ve ever met has been stoked about it, because they need people with solid writing skills and reading comprehension. Also, I do IT so it’s not as though it’s kept me from moving into other fields.
I was in a neuroscience program and I had to take a psychology class and the prof straight up told us “psychology is no longer valued because it’s a female dominated field” and showed us peer reviewed journals and studies to prove such. Fields women are in are devalued BECAUSE theyre dominated by women, not because they’re inherently worthless.
Our first ever meeting in the lobby of a Belfast hotel did start by him rugby tackling me to the floor yelling “WIFEY!” We like to call him Tigger – he has more energy than I do after 3 bags of Pick ‘N’ Mix, and he is a good foot taller than me and can also bench press me with one hand. But he is also very talented and very kind. You can’t get much better than Momoa. It was brilliant to have him as my on-screen hubbie! – Emilia Clarke
Okay but when will girls be praised for cleaning the whole house and cooking for the whole family and being organized and taking care of younger siblings/children the same way families praise their boys when they wash their own fucking dishes.
